No accounts. No waiting. Just drop your image, pick a format and download. That's the whole point.
Most image converters make you sign up, create an account or upload your files to a server you know nothing about. You just want to convert a PNG to WebP. Why is that a five-step process?
Here's the problem with those tools. Your images sit on someone else's server. You don't know how long they keep them, who can access them or what they do with the data. For personal photos, client work or anything sensitive, that's not acceptable.
Img2Format works differently. Every conversion happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device. Not for a second. No server sees them, no one stores them and nothing gets logged.
We built this because we were tired of the same story: bloated converter sites, forced sign-ups and the constant feeling that your files are being harvested. So we stripped everything back and kept only what matters — a fast, private tool that actually works.
There's no magic server doing the heavy lifting. The browser handles everything using built-in web APIs that have been available for years. Most converters just haven't bothered to use them.
