01 Acceptance of Terms

Using Img2Format means you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part, stop using the tool.

These terms apply to all users of Img2Format, regardless of how you access it — directly through the website, embedded in another page or via any other method.

02 What Img2Format Is

Img2Format is a free, browser-based image conversion tool. It converts images between formats including PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, GIF and TIFF. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API.

No files are uploaded to any server. No data is stored. The tool is provided free of charge with no registration required.

03 Acceptable Use

You may use Img2Format for personal and commercial purposes. You may not use it to:

• Convert or distribute images you do not own or have no legal right to use
• Process content that violates any applicable law, including obscene or illegal material
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or automate the tool in ways that degrade performance for other users
• Misrepresent the tool or pass it off as your own product without permission

We reserve the right to block access for anyone who abuses the service, though we have no way of tracking individual users given the privacy-first architecture.

04 Intellectual Property

The Img2Format name, logo, design and code are the property of Rana Saad Ullah. You may not copy, replicate or redistribute the tool or its interface without written permission.

The open-source libraries used by Img2Format (JSZip and jsPDF) remain under their respective licenses. We make no claim of ownership over those libraries.

05 Your Files

You retain full ownership of any file you convert using Img2Format. We do not access, store, transmit or claim any rights over your images.

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you process. By using this tool, you confirm that you have the right to convert those files and that doing so does not infringe on any third-party rights.

Keep your originals. Img2Format does not retain copies of anything you process. If a conversion produces unexpected results, the original file is your only fallback.

06 Availability

Img2Format is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim to keep it running and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The tool may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, browser compatibility issues or factors outside our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

07 Limitation of Liability

Img2Format is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Loss of data, files or images resulting from use of the tool
• Quality degradation caused by format conversion
• Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the tool
• Errors or inaccuracies in the converted output

Your use of Img2Format is entirely at your own risk.

08 Third-Party Libraries

Img2Format loads two open-source JavaScript libraries from a public CDN:

• JSZip — used for packaging multiple converted files into a ZIP download
• jsPDF — used for PDF output conversion

Both run entirely in your browser. We are not responsible for the content, availability or behavior of third-party CDN services. If a CDN is unreachable, ZIP and PDF functionality may not work.

09 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of the page reflects when they were last revised. Continued use of Img2Format after any update means you accept the new terms.

We will not notify users of changes individually since no accounts or contact details are collected. Check this page periodically if you want to stay current.
