Supported Formats

Every Format You Need

Convert between all major image formats without installing any software.

WebP
.webp
Google's modern web format. Up to 34% smaller than JPEG at the same visual quality. The best choice for website performance and Core Web Vitals.
PNG
.png
Lossless compression with full transparency support. Ideal for logos, screenshots, UI elements and any image needing pixel-perfect clarity.
JPG / JPEG
.jpg
The most widely supported format. Lossy compression keeps files small — great for photographs, complex scenes and email attachments.
AVIF
.avif
The newest and most efficient format. Better compression than WebP. Growing browser support makes it the future of web images.
BMP
.bmp
Uncompressed Windows bitmap. Completely lossless with large file sizes. Used in legacy print workflows and older Windows applications.
GIF
.gif
256-color format with animation support. Great for simple graphics, icons and short looping clips on social platforms.
FAQ

Common Questions

Everything you need to know before converting your first image.

Are my images uploaded to a server? +
No. Every conversion runs 100% in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device — no server, no storage, no tracking. The tool also works offline after the first page load.
Is there a file size limit? +
No hard limit. The practical ceiling is your device's available RAM. Files up to 50 MB work smoothly on most modern laptops and phones.
Can I convert multiple images at once? +
Yes. Drop as many images as you need in one go. Each file gets its own download button. Once all files are converted, a Download All as ZIP button appears so you can grab everything at once.
Which format should I use for my website? +
WebP is the best choice for most websites — excellent compression, great quality and supported in all modern browsers. Use AVIF for maximum compression. Keep PNG for logos and transparent images.
Does the quality slider affect PNG? +
No. PNG is a lossless format so the quality slider has no effect on PNG output. The slider only applies to JPG, WebP and AVIF which use lossy compression.
Can I resize images during conversion? +
Yes. Enter a width, height or both in the resize fields. If you enter only one dimension the other scales proportionally to preserve the aspect ratio. Leave both blank to keep the original size.
